Andrea Riviezzo is the Founder, Treasurer, and Vice Chair of For the People Foundation. She started her work with the soldiers in 2003 after hearing a news cast that said soldiers weren’t getting everything they needed. Just in attempt to be a pen pal, she found a soldier who was requesting a toothbrush and toothpaste. She stayed in contact with this soldier until he was able to go home to his wife and new born baby. After that she supported another soldier while finish her degree at Colorado State University. After college, Andrea decided she wanted to do more for the troops with more soldiers, and decided to start the non-profit. During the holiday’s, Andrea has also stopped by Firehouses and police stations on what she called “Operation Pie Drop” as well as brining them cookies and other goods to make their day a little brighter. Andrea’s passion is assembling the packages and getting the joy of giving to those who sever the country.

Grant Hicks is the Chair of For the People Foundation. He became the Chair of the Board of Directors in 2007, though he has been working with the charity from the begining. Grant also went to Colorado State University, and obtained his Master’s Degree from Regis University. Grant is the primary fundraiser for the non-profit. Since Grant took Chair he has brought in a significant amount of revenue for the charity each year, and has found several ways to help support the troops and get a large community involvement.
